About me

Hello my name is Nicholas Torchio and I'm a recent graduate from University of North Carolina in Wilmington where I earned two Bachelors Degrees; one in Anthropology and another in Digital Arts. My digital art endeavors tend to involve using the Adobe Creative Cloud.

I enjoy using the Adobe Creative cloud for making projects and I find video editing to be really fun. I've also become familiar with Premier Pro, and as a platform to work with teams. I have a lot of fun with Photoshop and have made posters for online gaming communities, as well as clubs on the UNCW campus.

Apart from my academic endeavors, I currently reside in Wilmington, North Carolina. I really enjoy reading and I'm very proud of the book collection I've amassed over the years. I've got a huge collection of Science Fiction/Fantasy novels and I'm always excited find my next series to read. Another large section of my book collection includes ancient writers such as Herodotus, Plato, Homer, Marcus Aurelius and others. My library would be incomplete without a section dedicated to Anthropology; I've got a handful of books on current Cultural Anthropology topics and am in the process of adding Digital Anthropology books dealing with Digital Anthropological theories and concepts as well as Digital Ethnographies.
